Engineer Wanted: Optimise & Elevate Our Linear Motion System!
We’re seeking an experienced Engineer to consult on optimising our linear motion system. We have a working prototype and need an expert to help refine and enhance the design.

Hands-On impact: Work directly on optimising an existing prototype, influencing design decisions that enhance performance, precision, and usability.
Collaborative innovation: Engage in ideation sessions, bringing fresh insights and advanced solutions to life in partnership with our Discovery team.
Focus on scalability: Ensure our design is ready for the future, supporting modularity and adaptability for ongoing enhancements.
Problem-solving challenges: Tackle real-world engineering problems, troubleshooting and refining systems for durability, efficiency, and seamless operation.
What you’ll bring
Stepper motor expertise: Proven experience designing stepper motor-driven machines like those in 3D printers, CNC machines, or medical equipment.
Arduino programming proficiency: Skilled in programming Arduino microcontrollers in C for precision motor control.
Deep linear motion knowledge: Strong grasp of the mechanics and electronics in linear motion systems, with a focus on optimising performance.
Analytical skills: Ability to assess, troubleshoot, and enhance motion systems to meet high standards of accuracy, response time, and efficiency.
Experimental physics lab experience:
