Contract: Fixed term contract to December 2025.
Salary: Up to £50k dependent on experience.
Location: In person - with flexibility.

This management accountant role is different in 3 ways:

What’s needed

  • Impactful decision-making: Prepare and present monthly management accounts to key stakeholders, directly shaping our business direction.

  • Operational excellence: Manage the Sales and Purchase ledgers, credit control, bank reconciliations, and more, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

  • Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with departmental budget holders, providing financial insights and constructive challenges to deliver our mission.

  • System enhancements: Lead improvements and integrations, including CRM and payment portals, streamlining operations company-wide.

  • Year-end expertise: Drive our year-end statutory accounts and audit process, showcasing your compliance skills.

  • Global compliance: Manage VAT for the UK and international markets, ensuring regulatory accuracy.

  • Agility & continuous improvement: Seeing change as an opportunity to learn and grow and always looking to enhance accounting and business practices to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

What you’ll bring

  • Analytical skills: Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Communication: Clear, articulate, and confident in presenting financial information, understanding what different stakeholders might need and tailoring appropriately.

  • Experience: Solid background in finance and CRM systems (SageX3 experience is a bonus).

  • Qualifications: Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or relevant experience.
